John Driesbach

John Driesbach teaches printmaking at California State University, Sacramento. A graduate of Indiana University in 1978, he arrived in Sacramento in 1981 after a stint teaching in Maryland. He has served as department chair from 1995 to 2000. His wife Janice is Director of the Sheldon Memorial Art Gallery in Lincoln, Nebraska and he continues to commute between the two cities.

In the spring of 2000 he attended his first Southern Graphics Council Conference in Austin and began contributing to exchange portfolios. Working primarily in lithography he has continued to contribute images including ones to Taboo and the Androdextrous portfolio at the 2006 conference in Madison.
